Our Story
Like many of you, Jade and I have faced various skin challenges, from combating hormonal acne and dealing with rosacea to navigating the complexities of sensitive skin and addressing the inevitable signs of aging. With our father deeply immersed in the medical industry for over 30 years, we were fortunate to tap into his network of dermatologists and laboratory experts, gaining access to ingredients and technologies that proved transformative for our skin.
Motivated by a burning desire to share these exceptional resources with everyone, we founded SilkiMED.
Our philosophy is grounded in three fundamental beliefs: skincare must be safe (both for the skin and the planet), it must deliver results, and it should promote self-empowerment.

SilkiMED meticulously selects safe and potent ingredients essential for our product to be both gentle and effective. We strictly avoid harmful elements and those that contribute minimally to the product's efficacy, such as fragrances, coloring agents, artificial preservatives, parabens, foaming agents, mineral oils, etc.

With over 15 years of experience in providing medical dressing and product manufacturing services for beauty institutions, our medical device facility is at the forefront of expertise. The development of SilkiMED products undergoes meticulous refinement, incorporating input from medical beauty institutions, skin experts, and customers to ensure both skin compatibility and effectiveness.

Clinical Tests for Effectiveness and Safety
We conduct thorough testing in both our in-house and third-party laboratories to ensure the safety and efficacy of our products. We avoid making exaggerated promises, and our claims are substantiated by the results of our clinical trials. It's important to note that all participants in these trials were consenting adults.
Our testing includes:
- Independent Human Repeat Insult Patch Testing (allergy patch testing) with 60 subjects;
- Independent toxicological screening, along with microbial, heavy metal, and safety assessments.
- Independent clinical trials for each product, involving 30 subjects, was conducted to support our efficacy claims.
Our Manufacturer & Certifications
Our manufacturer is a medical group specializing in the production of medical dressings.
SilkiMED's products are manufactured in a medical device facility, adhering to medical device standards. Many of the raw materials used are of medical-grade quality. The production facility holds certifications such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, China GMP, US FDA, EU GMP, among others.
Our Packaging
Glass Bottles
We chose flat glass bottles as our primary packaging for numerous sustainable benefits. Glass, composed of natural minerals, is perfect for preserving cosmetic products due to its natural resistance to temperature and chemical aggressors. The intentionally designed flat bottle helps reduce our carbon footprint by optimizing shipping volume.
These bottles are also recyclable. After enjoying our skincare products, we encourage you to creatively repurpose the glass bottles. Whether used as charming flower vases or reed diffuser containers, their beauty and functionality extend beyond their original purpose.
